Mr. Jarupat Jaikla is currently an Assistant Administrative Officer of AUAP, a position he has held for over five years. In his current role, Mr. Jarupat supervises the internal operations of the association, which involve the planning of international events, promotion of collaboration and value-driven initiatives among members, facilitation and execution of various projects such as leadership training programs, faculty and youth development programs, knowledge-sharing programs, networking, and others. Besides overseeing the designing and distribution of promotional materials for various events and activities among members, Mr. Jarupat has been directly involved in most of the past AUAP events, providing valuable insights to and coordinating with many member institutions in the hosting of past conferences, meetings, workshops, symposia, and sporting activities of the association. At present, Mr. Jarupat is committed to ensuring that members’ interests remain a top priority of the association; moreover, he has also involved himself in the formulation and implementation of minor policies of the AUAP Secretariat that promote faculty and student empowerment through entrepreneurship, technology transfer, research, and innovation towards robust and efficient global higher education systems. Mr. Jarupat is highly admired by his colleagues and member institutions for his professionalism, experience, diligence, interpersonal skills, and proclivity to plan and execute projects in a timely manner. As the association continues to expand its reach beyond the Asia Pacific region towards quality higher education, Mr. Jarupat’s role is even more crucial now in making AUAP one of the leading global higher education organizations.
