Dr. Supaporn Chuangchid

Ms. Supaporn Chuangchid has served as the Executive Secretary of the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) since its founding in 1995 at Suranaree University of Technology, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. With a remarkable career spanning over 29 years in higher education administration, she has been a driving force behind numerous regional collaborative projects and research initiatives focused on university partnerships, academic exchanges, and advancing the academic landscape across the Asia-Pacific region. Her leadership and dedication have touched 36 member countries within the Asia-Pacific and extended to various international organizations, enhancing the global network of higher education. Ms. Supaporn is widely acknowledged for her exceptional organizational abilities, strategic communication skills, and proficiency in project management. She excels in stakeholder engagement and relationship building, consistently fostering strong partnerships between universities and institutions across borders. Her expertise and impact have earned her an invitation to serve as a Judge for the WURI Ranking 2024, a prestigious role recognizing her influence and standing in the field of education. Furthermore, Ms. Supaporn has been exclusively invited by the Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) of the United Nations, where she is recognized as a distinguished academic leader for her significant contributions to the field of education. Her work continues to shape and influence the future of higher education, promoting a more connected, innovative, and inclusive global academic community. Ms. Supaporn holds a degree in Mass Communication from Ramkhamhaeng University, Thailand, and a Master’s Degree in Diplomacy and International Studies from the Institute of Diplomacy and International Studies, Rangsit University, Thailand. A passionate advocate for educational development, cultural exchange, and the advancement of innovative university governance, she remains committed to fostering educational excellence, building cross-cultural partnerships, and leading transformative initiatives that advance higher education both regionally and globally. Through her tireless dedication, Ms. Supaporn continues to be a key player in shaping the future of higher education in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
