Dr. Lilibeth S. Galvez is a professor of Development Communication at Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) in Mati City, Philippines. She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of the Immaculate Conception, a Master of Arts in Education majoring in Teaching English from Ateneo de Davao University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from St. Theresa’s College, Cebu. Currently serving as the Director of the Global Affairs and International Relations Office, Dr. Galvez has held various administrative positions, including Dean of the Institute of Agriculture and Life Sciences and Head of multiple university offices related to research, scholarships, publications, and external affairs. A dedicated researcher, she has led and co-led numerous studies on climate change adaptation, agricultural enterprise development, gender issues, indigenous communication tools, and bio- organic fertilizer development. Her work contributes significantly to local and national initiatives, particularly in agriculture, education, and environmental sustainability.
